The public database covers applications seeking to operate new top-level domains under the ICANN program, but it does not mean those strings are approved or delegated. The process is still moving through the round’s evaluation and contention stages, with eligible applicants able to switch to replacement strings during the current period and final string outcomes subject to later confirmation.
