ICANN has published the applications submitted in the 2026 New gTLD Round, including six applications for .PORTAL.
With multiple applicants seeking the same string, .PORTAL is contested. The applications will continue through ICANN’s evaluation process; if the contention is not resolved through other program mechanisms, an auction is expected to determine which application may proceed.
